Mustang is a large-scale sculptural work created through a grant from Wild Horses of the American West. Built from the remnants of wrecked automobiles, the sculpture stands nearly 3 meters tall, reassembling industrial debris into a figure of endurance and motion. The making of Mustang was documented in a short film that later won the LA Short Film Festival.

Automata Equis, 2016

Automata Equis was created in 2016 through an honoraria grant from Burning Man. The installation featured three life-size kinetic horse sculptures constructed from industrial washers and cut steel pipe. The works moved in slow, synchronized motion, translating mechanical repetition into a study of animal form and movement.

The installation was later acquired by the resort Sierra Meadows and reconstructed as stationary sculptures.

Pulse and Bloom 2025

Pulse and Bloom was a large-scale interactive installation featuring a grove of twenty lotus sculptures ranging from 3 to 5 meters in height. Designed with infrared pulse sensors and integrated LEDs, each sculpture responded to touch, pulsing with the participant’s heartbeat when a hand was placed on the sensor.

The project was created through a Burning Man Honoraria grant and developed collaboratively by a multidisciplinary team of artists, technologists, neuroscientists, and architects.
