Heather Stewart is a mixed media artist who currently is based in LA. In 2008 she graduated from Alfred University with a BFA and a minor in Equine Science. Since that time she has travelled all over the world building art installations, painting murals and learning to build as many things as possible. In 2013 She co-founded a company which converts shipping containers into tiny off-grid houses called boxouse. In 2014 she started experimenting with large metal interactive installations which has remained a consistnet theme in her work.
